Start with the invited person's line, not the reward
The referral headline is attractive, but the useful decision is whether ahamo solves the invited person's Japan setup. A referral URL will not fix a plan mismatch, identity issue, or device setup problem.
- Good fit: foreign residents, students, workers, and long-stay users who need a Japanese mobile number for calls, carrier SMS, housing, school, work, delivery, banking, or account recovery.

What the official pages say now
The ahamo referral page checked on 2026-06-23 shows a campaign period beginning 2025-11-28 with no end date displayed on the page. It also states that from 2025-12-22 the referrer benefit cap changed from one invited person to three people per d account.
- The referrer benefit is a total of 7,000 limited-time dPOINTs for each eligible invited user, up to the stated cap.
- The invited user benefit is 13,000 points when switching to ahamo by MNP, or 6,000 points when opening a new phone number.
- The official ahamo campaign list also includes the referral campaign, with no end date in the current campaign feed checked during this run. Recheck on the application day because ahamo says campaign terms may change.
Entry and d account timing decide eligibility
The referral path has two separate roles. The current ahamo user issues the referral URL, and the invited user must enter from that URL with the d account they will use for ahamo. Missing that path can remove the benefit for both sides.
- The invited user must enter by the end of the month in which ahamo opens, using the d account they use for the ahamo application.
- The line must be opened through the ahamo site without buying a device. SIM-only includes eSIM, but a phone purchase with the application is outside this referral route.
- The same d account cannot be used as both the referrer's entry account and the invited user's campaign entry account. Keep accounts and screenshots clear before applying.
Do not stack MNP campaigns blindly
ahamo's overlap guidance is important because several active offers target SIM-only MNP users. The referral campaign may not combine with other ahamo MNP campaigns, and the latest valid entry at the end of the opening month can decide which offer is applied.

Plan, document, and setup checks come first
